Pets are naturally curious, so a few simple changes around the home can prevent many avoidable accidents. Keep medicines, cleaning products, chemicals, sharp objects, small swallowable items and unsafe foods out of reach.
Check balconies, windows, gates and doors for escape points. Keep electrical cables protected and make sure your pet has a quiet, comfortable place to rest when they need some space.
Hot Weather & Monsoon Care
- Hot and humid weather can be uncomfortable for pets. Make sure they have access to shade, ventilation and fresh water, and avoid strenuous exercise during the hottest part of the day.
- During heavy rain or monsoon weather, dry your pet properly after they get wet and keep sleeping areas clean and dry. Check paws and skin regularly, especially if your pet spends time outdoors.
